For the 25th anniversary of the company in 2017, the entrepreneur and designer Alexander Shorokhoff has created some outstanding watches in accordance with the company’s direction “Art on the Wrist”. By this work he could develop his innovative thinking and fine instinct for art to the full. For the watch line “Alexander Pushkin“ of the „Heritage“-collection Alexander Shorokhov has designed one special model: The automatic watch “Camomile“.

For the 25th anniversary of the company in 2017, the entrepreneur and designer Alexander Shorokhoff has created some outstanding watches in accordance with the company’s direction “Art on the Wrist”. By this work he could develop his innovative thinking and fine instinct for art to the full. For the watch line “Alexander Pushkin“ of the „Heritage“-collection Alexander Shorokhov has designed one special model: The automatic watch “Camomile“.
The watch fascinates at first glance. What makes this timepiece so special is the elaborately designed dial. The colorful flower field of the dial combines different technologies as hand engraving, laser engraving and enamel coating in order to get a fascinating three-dimensional look. First, the contours of the flowers are marked by a laser beams and deepened. Then, all details of the flowers are engraved by hand, the background matted and colorful enamelled by hand. The final rhodium and gold plating refines the surface of the dial. Afterwards the appliqués are applied. Now, the dial is fully shining in the perfect and inimitable “”Alexander Shorokhoff””-style.
Only a few companies of our business sector master this complicate technology. Alexander Shorokhov developed it during the last years in order to make it possible combining the traditional art of hand engraving with fresh modern colors.
This year the „Camomile“ not only present real delight to our customers, but also to an international jury. Tendered by the German Design Council at the end of October 2017, this lovely and feminine watch model was able to accept the great distinction of the well-known “German Design Award”, with the title “Winner 2018” for the first time.
