Design Award for Winter
On the 10th of February, the winners of the German Design Award 2017 were announced in Frankfurt, Germany. Alexander Shorokhov was given the award “Special Mention” for his beautiful watch “Winter”.
The model “Winter” has a very exceptional dial. It shows tree branches surrounded by a sparkling blanket of snow made of diamond powder, which is applied to the dial in an innovative process. The characteristic number 60 and the diamonds at 3 and 6 o’clock help to read the time. This design breaks with the traditional appearance of luxury watches and the hand-engraved automatic movement and the calfskin leather strap give the watch inimitable look.
For 2018 we will forward a new unusual model and hope to be successful again. Stay tuned and be exited which timepiece will join the participation.
