German Design Award for Kandy AVG

On the 9th of February, the winners of the German Design Award 2019 were announced in Frankfurt, Germany. Alexander Shorokhov and his wife Alla was given the award “Winner 2019” for the watch Kandy Avantgarde.

The jury statement is: “An homage to the school of Avant-Garde artists, the watch appears as distinctive as well as stylish with its manifold colors and forms. Apparent is the high quality in use of workmanship and materials, yet the watch is also seemingly astonishing in its appearance and appeal.“
