INSPIRATION
In 2017, the “Alexander Shorokhoff Uhrenmanufaktur“ celebrates its 25th jubilee, and the best way to celebrate this occasion is by creating new exclusive watch models. The tourbillion “Tomorrow“is one of these creations.
By making this watch the designer Alexander Shorokhov remained true to his principles. The extraordinary futurist design matches very well with his “Avantgarde“ collection and it is no coicident that the name of the watch is “Tomorrow“.
The design can be interpreted in several ways being similar to a cobweb, a bat or something similiar. However, the plan of Alexander Shorokhov was to make a decentralized front side. This is why the lines do not orientate towards the centre, rather they meet at the companies logo. The lines show a strong individualism and intensify their significance. The lower part of the dial has a striking sun beams polishing and is colored in a pleasant blue . Due to this beautiful background the lines stand out even more.
Despite the manifold design elements the time can easily be read. Every line of the upper dial part leads to a triangular gold plated hour mark that assures a clear distribution of the hours. This design brings a new aspect to the “Avantgarde“-collection, completing it with another highlight.
The movement of this watch is a tourbillon from a manufacturer that watch connoisseurs value – the company “Concepto“. The company from Switzerland produces movements for several top brands. The bridges of the tourbillon movement are engraved by hand in the “Alexander Shorokhoff“ watch manufacturer and after this, returned to Switzerland for the final assembling.
This 18 carat rose gold watch is limited to 5 pieces worldwide.
